Code of Conduct

Upon enrolment at Dance Evolution, it is imperative that you acknowledge and understand our Code of Conduct. We kindly request you to carefully read and adhere to these guidelines. At Dance Evolution, we champion a culture of respect, friendliness, support, and joy among our staff, students, and parents. Our commitment is to provide a nurturing environment that promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being, facilitates learning, and instils dedication, discipline, and commitment in all our students. Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may lead to the suspension or termination of student enrolment.

We extend a warm welcome to you as part of our Dance Evolution family and strive to make your experience, whether as a student or a family member, positive and enjoyable.

Important Note:
In the event that our studio is subject to Victorian Government/Chief Health Officer restrictions, all families will be promptly informed of the necessary procedures in place to adhere to any restrictions or density limitations.

Behavioural Expectations:
Parents/Guardians, students, visitors, and Dance Evolution staff and teachers are expected to always treat each other with respect. Inappropriate language, abusive behaviour, bullying, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated.

Student Safety:
The safety of our students is our top priority. Students under 18 must be accompanied to and from the studio premises by an adult. Please ensure that they are at the designated drop-off area on time for the start of class and collected promptly at the end. While we cannot guarantee supervision after class, we prioritise the safety of our students.

Positive Communication:
We request that everyone associated with Dance Evolution refrains from expressing negativity towards the studio, students, other parents, or our teachers and staff, both within the studio and on social media.

Studio Etiquette:

• Parents/Guardians and family members are not allowed in the studio during class unless invited by the teachers. Viewing weeks will be scheduled and communicated via email.

• If in the studio foyer, please be considerate of ongoing classes and maintain minimal noise. Siblings must be always supervised.

• Keep the studio facilities tidy and use the provided bins. Full restitution for any damage caused is expected.

Information and Communication:

• Stay informed by carefully reading all provided information through email, newsletters, and our private Dance Evolution Members Page on Facebook.

• For any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. Direct concerns or problems to the on-duty desk staff, Principal, or the teacher on duty. Meeting requests with the Principal or Teacher are welcome, preferably via email.

Contact Protocol:

• Parents or students are not to contact individual teachers via social media, private emails, or phone numbers. All communication should go through the main studio email address or directly to the Principal via text or phone.

• Use the official studio email address (contact@danceevolution.au) or phone (0451 277 975) for any contact purposes.
